We were looking for a good lobster roll and headed to the Clam Bar at the Bridge Marina in Bayville. The Clam Bar was a cute outside bar/restaurant right in the boat marina. The views of the boats and the bay were incredible relaxing. A beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy lunch.

We ordered a Manhattan Clam Chowder, Lobster Salad and a Tuna Sandwich.

I opted out of the Lobster Roll since it had onions in it. I do not like onions and I do not know why they mix them in their Lobster Roll. I was incredibly disappointed so I opted for the Tuna Sandwich.

On to the soup, this could have been the worst Manhattan Clam Chowder that I ever had. It was so watery that it had not taste. I would have preferred a Campbell’s Manhattan Clam Chowder. which I confident would have tasted better.

My wife liked her Lobster Salad but thought the presentation in a bowl was a disappointment since she could not get to anything but the lobster salad. The Tuna Sandwich on the other hand was very tasty and I would go back for that if the other food was presentable.

Our conclusion is that the Clam Bar was an uneven dining experience. While it is a beautiful environment, it is a struggle to order the right dishes. If you choose poorly, you can end up like this
